Funding

Each Service Center will require ~$4M in capital investments. We have had promising preliminary discussions with the US Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office (LPO), which provides loan guarantees through LPO’s Title 17 Clean Energy Financing Program.

Another source of low-interest loans and grants is the Maryland Clean Energy Incentive Tax Credit, the Technology Commercialization Fund (TCF), and the Partnership for Workforce Quality (PWQ). Most states offer similar programs.
